Fer à Cheval Soft Black Soap 500g is a multi-talented universal cleaner : a small dose is enough to clean, degrease, nourish and shine all washable surfaces in the house and garden. It is also a wonderful stain remover for laundry ; stubborn stains cannot resist it.

Formulated with olive oil, without the addition of preservatives, solvents or colorings, Soft Black Horseshoe Soap offers an alternative to chemical detergents.

How to use

Gardening tools :
Apply a dab of Soft Black Soap to a brush and scrub the metal parts of the tools. Rinse with hot water and dry thoroughly with newspaper. The tools will be clean and better protected.

Chimney :

Start by vacuuming up the soot stains. In a basin of hot water, dilute 2 tbsp of Soft Black Soap, and using a soaked brush, clean the stones and bricks. For the fireplace insert, place a dab of Black Soap on newspaper rolled into a ball, rub vigorously to restore its shine, then finish cleaning with a sponge dampened with hot water and dry with a cloth.

Wood / Leather :
Place a dab of Soft Black Soap on a slightly damp cloth, rub gently to restore suppleness and shine. Before applying Black Soap, do a test on a hidden part of the furniture, clothing, bag, or shoes to be treated.

Sludge / Paint :
Apply a little Soft Black Soap to the stain on the back of your laundry before putting it in the machine.

Grease stains
Apply Black Soap to the grease stains and rub lightly to make it penetrate. Leave to act for a few minutes before machine or hand washing.

Odors and stubborn stains on a mattress :
Cover the stains with Black Soap and white vinegar using a cloth and leave to act for a few minutes. Rinse by dabbing with lukewarm water and let dry.

Degrease the oven :
On a slightly warm oven, apply your Black Soap to the areas to be degreased then spread a little Baking Soda and leave to act for half a day. Scrub and rinse thoroughly with hot water.

Hood, hob, barbecue grill :
Regularly degrease the grills using a sponge soaked in a small amount of Black Soap. If the grease is very stubborn, soak the grill for a few hours in a basin of hot water with 2 tbsp of Black Soap, then rinse thoroughly with hot water.

Precautions for use:

Before applying Soft Black Soap to leather, do a test on an invisible part of the garment, bag, shoes, etc.

Ingredients

30% or more of: soap. Also contains: water, pH corrector, sequestrants.
